Pique Tea Crystals

Pique Tea Crystals is exceptional tea in an instant

Hey everyone, Rose here with another lovely review for you all. Drinking iced tea is one of my favorite past times, which means when I was asked to test out Pique tea crystals, I was more than willing to do so. Originally, I was told they could be mixed with hot or cold water. The packets I received had no mention of being able to use cold water – a sad disappointment to me. I promised to try them, so I still did.

Two flavors to start out of five.

Sadly Pique  Tea Crystals does not have a huge selection at this time. I was sent Sencha Organic Green Tea and the Jasmine Organic Green Tea. I tried the Jasmine first. It has a strong floral taste, but I think that is common with most green teas. I did try it without sweetener first and it wasn’t too bad; however, later I used one packet of sweetener and a little ice to finish it.

Next up Sencha Organic Green Tea

I waited a day or so before I tried the other tea from Pique. I took the time to look over their website more closely and saw where they stated you can mix it with cold water. I figured I had nothing to lose, plus I had to give it a through testing, right? Well, much to my pleasure and relief, it worked! So, I don’t know if the samples I got were in older packaging or why the instructions only mention hot water as a mixing option.  As for the taste of the Sencha Organic Green Tea compared to the Jasmine, I didn’t notice too much of a difference except that the Jasmine seemed a little sweeter. This was more…astringent.

Final thoughts on Pique Tea Crystals ?

Pique Tea Crystals is a great company if you want easy-to-make-and-transport organic teas.  Each serving is a convenient little packet that is about the size of the long sugar packs some restaurants use. So, the tea packets are very easy to toss into a purse or a pocket. The tea crystals are a fine powder that dissolves quickly so you don’t need to wait to enjoy your tea.
