Easter DIY: Lil Chick Easter Straw Topper

Are you planning an Easter or spring themed breakfast or brunch? Or maybe you just want to perk up your Easter parties? If so, these lil’ chick Easter straw toppers are so cute! Lil Chick Easter Straw Topper

Supplies needed:
Chenille Easter chicks
Hot glue, glue gun

We have seen these precious Easter chicks at Hobby Lobby, Big Lots, and other area craft and retail stores. You can get a whole box for less than $2.

1. Begin by stretching your straw open. You want to attach the chick below the crinkling where the straw bends.
2. Add a dab of hot glue to the chick’s feet. You want to use hot glue, as anything else just won’t allow the chick to adhere as well.
3. Slide the straw in between the chick’s feet. Press it into place until the glue dries.

How cute is that? You now have a chick on a straw perfect for sipping your Easter party punch! Make a whole set of these and they not only make the perfect party accent, but they will add some décor to your party arranged in a vase on the food table. These chicks come in a wide range of colors, so pick the ones you like and make some party magic.

Give this easy and super budget friendly Easter craft a try and make some frugal Easter fun! Happy Easter, and happy crafting!
